JAVORCA 1916—2016
Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit in Javorca - "Basilica of Peace"
The unique Art Nouveau pearl, a monument of peace and a symbol of harmony, retains its image and purpose despite great trials in the rugged mountain environment.
And just as the wooden parts of the church require constant care, it is necessary to constantly draw attention to its fragile and shocking anti-war message and strive for peace.
The online exhibition was created based on the eponymous museum exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Javorca.
