Accessibility statement

The accessibility statement refers to the website www.tol-muzej.si, which is managed by Tolmin Museum.

We want to welcome everyone who visits our website and ensure a positive user experience. Our goal is to make the website accessible to the widest range of users, including those with disabilities.

The website adheres to the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.0 standard, and the self-assessed compliance partially meets level AA. We are currently working on or planning to implement fixes to improve the accessibility of the website.

Accessibility features:

Description of accessible elements and content on the website:

• The website is responsive (content adjusts to screen size),
• The website has a clear and consistent structure,
• Main components are always located in the same place on the website,
• Links are recognizable,
• Animations comply with standards,
• The website can be enlarged up to 200% without losing information,
• The website can be operated using a keyboard,
• The website does not display important information as image text,
• The website contains certain tools that were specifically designed for the site (font size, contrast display).

This allows the user to:

• Change the contrast on the entire website, except for old standalone subpages,
• Change the text size, except for old standalone subpages,
• Stop all animations,
• And more.

Inaccessible content:

Description of inaccessible elements and content on the website:

• Changes to contrast and size cannot be made on old standalone subpages created before 2015, as it would be a disproportionate burden,
• Keyboard navigation on certain pages is not optimal,
• Some elements do not have an optimal alternative description,
• Some multimedia content recorded before September 23, 2020, is not fully accessible (some video subtitles may be missing, for example).
