Man & war
06.06.2015 - 30.05.2016
Wars and armed conflicts of different kind accompany the human since the prehistoric era. They cannot be stopped or prevented by atrocities, fright, and suffering, neither by havoc and general destruction caused by the war itself. Why is it so? Why isn't the humankind able to exit that ever repeating cycle of torture, conquest and self-destruction? Those are just few of questions opened by the exhibition, which is dedicated to all those who were or are pushed into war machinery by their own or by someone else's choice.
The contents of the exhibition is related to the World War I, but it's message is wide. At the exhibition, the human aspect of the war is exposed, not the military one. The intention of the exhibition is to encourage critical thinking about war and fate of people who face with it, as well as to warn visitors of some mechanisms and social circumstances that lead to war.
