In search of comfort and peace

The Memorial Church in Javorca was built in 1916, when the area of the Isonzo Front was already covered by numerous military cemeteries.

Arthur Roessler wrote that graves are carefully cared for everywhere, and that soldiers-artists help to arrange monuments and cemeteries.
