Who takes care of the church?
After World War II, the church was taken care of for some time by Franc Gregorčič, a local from Blek's homestead, which was still inhabited at the time. Once a year, on the feast of the Sacred Heart, a priest from Tolmin held a holy mass here on behalf of the village of Čadrg, in gratitude for the village’s protection from the ravages of war.
Later, the church was left to decay, and in the 1960s and 1970s, newspapers reported cultural shame: the church showed a rather neglected image.
