Monument of peace for eternal peace

The church is exceptional not only from an artistic point of view, but also because it was built during the war on the outskirts of the cruel Isonzo battlefield.

The unique Art Nouveau pearl, a monument of peace and a symbol of harmony, retains its image and purpose, despite great trials in the rugged mountain environment. Today, Javorca on the Path of Peace is a place of meetings and common memory of the fallen on the Isonzo front.

And just as the wooden parts of the church require constant care, it is necessary to constantly draw attention to its fragile and shocking anti-war message and strive for peace.
