The Grahovo Viaduct

At the Grahovo Viaduct, the railroad crosses the meandering Bača River for the sixth time. It is composed of two stone sections with five and four arches each on either side of a 58-meter-long iron structure. The viaduct’s total length is 185.8 meters and here the railroad grade is the steepest (26‰).

Although the Grahovo Viaduct is among the most beautiful on the line, it remains largely unnoticed. It runs under the main road through Grahovo, but its beauty can be best appreciated from underneath, from the plain that it traverses.
