The Mrtvaški Viaduct (Deathlike Viaduct)

The Mrtvaški viaduct (Deathlike viaduct) is said to be named after the creek into which villagers from nearby Škodniki threw ashes of the clothes from deceased fellow villagers. It is 163 meters long and has seven arches. Its pier foundations just touch the bed of the Soča River, which turns sharply here.

The railroad reaches the viaduct immediately after leaving the station. Underneath its first arch, a road runs from Ročinj across the Soča River to the village on the opposite bank.
